Real Visa On Arrival Starts in Myanmar


"REAL VISA ON ARRIVAL (VOA) Starts in Myanmar"

Starting from 1st May 2010, Myanmar immigration is granting real VOA for all foreigners both at Yangon and Mandalay Airport.

Myanmar Marketing Committee MMC confirmed the news.
UMTA said they would issue the announcement today.


1) Tourist Visa
- USD30
- Valid for 28 days
- 01 passport photo

2) Business Visa
- USD40
- Valid for 70 days
- 01 passport photo
3) Transit Visa
- USD18
- Valid for 24 hours
- 01 passport photo

4) Eligibility
- All passengers with valid passports EXCEPT those listed on
Myanmar Immigration "Black List".

5) Passport Validity
- MUST be at least 6 months during stay in Myanmar

6) Fund
- Single traveler must hold minimum USD300
- Family must hold minimum USD600
7) Others
- Child under age of 7 traveling with passport together with
parent is exempted from Visa fee (FOC).

Note : Above applies to Mandalay Airport too.
